Insurance

If your private dental plan includes orthodontic treatment, you will enjoy the benefit of reduced personal cost.  As with all Canadian orthodontic specialists, Berco & DeLuca Orthodontics does not accept assignment of benefits; however, we will provide you with the necessary information and documentation to make the most of your insurance.

To gain insight into your orthodontic coverage, you may call your insurance company or speak with your plan administrator. 

It is helpful to determine the following prior to your initial visit:

1. 1.If your dental plan covers orthodontic treatment
   

2. 2.What percentage of your orthodontic treatment will be covered by insurance, and
   

3. 3.If there are any limitations to your coverage, including age or maximum dollar amount
   

At your first visit we will provide you with the necessary Canadian Association of Orthodontists Certified Specialist in Orthodontics Standard Information Form outlining your proposed treatment and costs.  Upon submission, your insurance carrier will contact you directly regarding your benefits.  As your treatment progresses and payments are made, you will be reimbursed directly by submitting the receipts to your insurance company.

including the complexity of the orthodontic problem, estimated treatment time and type of orthodontic

appliance required to correct your bite.
